So, last Friday, the 25th, my cousin, his friend, and I all went to Mayhem Fest in Dallas. Simply put, it was fucking awesome. The bands we saw, Mastodon, Dragonforce, Disturbed, and Slipknot (in that order) were awesome. That is, Dragonforce and Disturbed were. Mastodon was "meh" and Slipknot just fucked up their own performance. Dragonforce played some songs I don't know, but they were awesome, and they topped it off with, you guessed it, Through the Fire and Flames. For all those people who say Dragonforce sucks live, fucking think again. Disturbed was on for an hour, Dragonforce for 50 minutes or so. Disturbed fucking rocked out loud. They were by far the best band there, being seconded by Dragonforce. I actually got to meet them, got an autograph and took a picture with the singer, ZP Heart, and it was fucking awesome. We ended up getting there around 1 PM and left around 1 AM, that's right, a full 24 hours. Anyway, that's all. Fucking awesome concert.
